In the spirit of Fatboy Slim’s Big Beach Boutique fest?and with the imprimatur of the UK
dance mastermind himself?comes the second edition of Japan’s own seaside music
extravaganza. Last year’s inaugural event saw some 20,000 turn out in Chiba, and with a
set by psychedelic techno warriors the Chemical Brothers, the 2010 version looks to draw
similar numbers. Fellow UK dance-music veterans Sasha and Groove Armada (right) follow
on a bill that also features newcomers like the mysterious, costumed 2 Bears, German ele-
ctro collective Dancing Pigeons, and Ibiza scenester Tania Vulcano with THE BLUE-RAYS.
